The new Orchard Installation tasks would include:

- Irrigation Installation for the Orchard and berry patch (March )
- Planting of Herbs, Strawberries & Groundcovers (April)
INVESTMENT: One time tasks include purchase and delivery of required materials, amendments and trees, site preparation earthworks and mulching, planting of 20 New Fruit Trees & 10 Nut Trees, planting berry patch, irrigation installation for orchard and blueberry patch, as well as planting of Herbs, Strawberries & Groundcovers.
Annual Maintenance is fertilizing & pruning the trees each year.
We estimate an abundance of herbs for cooking at year 1. We estimate a return of 2-5lbs per berry bush annually after a three year period. We estimate a return of 50-100lb of fruit for each fruit tree annually after a seven year period. We estimate a yield of 5-10lbs of nuts per nut tree after a 10 year period. We estimate a yield of 500lbs of fruit and 10lbs of nuts at year 7. The investment to install the new Food Forest is $24,995.
