Hazelnut Orchard Installation

This Hazelnut Orchard was installed in 2025 in Burgoyne Valley, Salt Spring Island. You can see Mt Maxwell in the background. This Hazelnut Orchard had four rows of 9 Trees for a total of 36 Trees. 20ft x 20ft spacing on the Trees. We included Tree shelters for protection and and a drip irrigation system for ease of watering. The trees were from Nature Tech Nursery and are the improved Eastern Filbert Blight resistant varieties from Oregon State University.
