Harvest Fall 2021

Here is some of the food that we grew in our garden over the last year. This was our first season in our new garden and some things worked great! We really enjoyed our Scarlett Runner Beans, Sunflowers, and Styrian climbing Pumpkins. Our no-dig Purple & Red potatoes turned out great. Our Eggplant did better than expected. Our broccoli and cauliflower had challenges with the heat dome but turned out ok. The cabbages and cucumbers we grew at a local farm restoration project turned out amazing, despite some deer pressure! This winter we are eating lots of our own squash, garlic, potatoes, beans, and greens. I’m happy with this yield from a first-year garden.
