Starting Nut Trees by Seed

These are the varities of Nut Trees we are starting this year, Fall 2021 by seed. We expect to have limited quantities of these Seedling nut trees available for planting Fall 2022. This selection will include seedling trees from Improved Varieties of Heartnut, Butternut, Persian Walnut, Black Walnut, and Ultra Northern Pecan, as well as locally adapted hazelnut seedlings.

We got our Hazelnut seeds from local saltspring orchards. Our Walnut & Ultra Northern Pecan trees from Grimo’s nut Nursery. These are Seedling Trees from these named varities, not grafted trees of the named varieties.
