What is a Tay Berry?
The tay berry is a cross between a blackberry and a red raspberry. It is named after the river Tay in Scotland. The fruit is very sweet, and much larger and aromatic than the loganberry. The berries are nutrient dense high in antioxidants and fiber and include Tay berries produce best in full sun in well drained soil with high amounts of organic matter. Tayberries are harvested in early july. Tay berries are also frost tolerant to -26* and show good disease resistant.
